In 2006, Andrew arrived in Birmingham to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham on a baseball scholarship. He graduated from the Collat School of Business with a degree in finance and accounting. After 1 year of Wealth Management with Merrill Lynch, he left to pursue a goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant and began his accounting career at Carr, Riggs, & Ingram where he serviced clients in various industries for over 7 years. His dream of the Autonomous Accounting model started to take shape when his parents' business in Georgia was in need of full-time accounting help with a part-time budget. He quickly realized that many other small businesses were in a similar predicament needing reliable financial information yet starved of time to produce it and thus the subscription based, Autonomous Accounting model was born. Andrew created Certified Pro Advisors out of his passion for technology, efficient financial operations, and small business - put this passion to work in your business!
